The mission of Mentors Philippines is to assist individuals and families that struggle for self-sufficiency as they attain a self-reliant livelihood. This is achieved by providing enterprise activities and educational assistance such as trainings, character development guidance, counseling, mentoring, and of course, small business loans.
Established in 1990, as the Philippine Enterprise Development Foundation, Inc., its name was later amended to Philippine Microenterprise Development Foundation, Inc. Later, in 2010, to align with their global branding, the name was finally changed to the current name. As of 2011, Mentors Philippines operates out of 7 branches, covering the whole of Metro Manila and parts of Cavite, Bulacan, Muntinglupa, and Rizal.
