We are pleased to share with you the three-part report on Multiple Borrowing in the Philippines: A Pilot Area Study prepared by Prof. Erwin R. Tiongson and Prof. Ronald T. Chua and sponsored by Grameen Foundation, Oikocredit, AIM, and MCPI. Released as the maiden edition of the “Philippine Microfinance Discussion Papers,” the report aims to shed light on the various dimensions of multiple borrowing; estimate the incidence of multiple borrowing in the Commonwealth area; and to understand the factors affecting or influencing it.
