The Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI) partnered with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to push the strategic objective of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion by strengthening financial education in the microfinance industry.
To formalize the partnership, MCPI joined the ceremonial signing of the fin-ed partnerships of BSP with MCPI, Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and BDO Foundation on May 22, 2025 at the BSP. During the event, the e-Learning modules of the BSP were also launched.
As part of the partnership, MCPI and BSP will conduct financial education training for staff of microfinance institutions who will serve as trainers for the financial education program of their microfinance clients.
