Out of the forty three organizations that submitted data for MicroFinance Transparency (MFT)’s Transparent Pricing Initiative in the Philippines, twenty four are members of the Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI). Of this number, 15 are non-government organizations, 7 are rural banks, and 2 are cooperatives. Last December 7 and 9, all the participants were given a Certificate of Recognition and Seal of Transparency during the Regulators’ forum and MicroFinance Transparency Data Launch Workshop held at the Astoria Plaza, Pasig City and at the N Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City respectively.
