ChildFund’s mission is to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children living in poverty have the capacity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change to their communities; and to promote societies whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting, and advancing the worth and the rights of children.
ChildFund Philippines is a member of ChildFund International, one of the world’s largest and most respected development organizations. The “Christian Children’s Fund” (CCF) or ChildFund has been working in the Philippines since 1954. In 1971, the National Office was established in response to a UN report citing the Philippines as one of the two countries in South East Asia with the highest malnutrition rate. In the Philippines, it works in 25 provinces all over the country and assists approximately 450,000 children and family members without regard to race, creed, origin, or gender.
