MCPI, with support from United Nations Environment Programme, delivered an orientation on clean and climate-resilient technologies for microentrepreneurs under the EmPower: Women for Climate-Resilient Societies Programme (EmPower).
A series of orientation sessions were conducted from March to April 2026, reaching a total of 298 microfinance clients from its partner microfinance institutions: Ahon Sa Hirap, Inc. (ASHI), Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF), and RAFI Microfinance, Inc. (RAFI MFI). The sessions were held across various locations, including Rizal Province, Negros Occidental, Capiz, Carcar City, and Cebu City.

The orientation covered key topics such as climate change, clean energy and technologies, and energy efficiency, all contextualized for microenterprises in the Philippines. As part of the learning process, participants conducted simple energy audits and developed action plans to help apply and reinforce their understanding.
