The 2012 MCPI Annual Conference: Focusing on Responsible and Client-Centered Microfinance put the spotlight on the clients as it gave an opportunity for all actors in microfinance to discuss how a client-centered approach will play a key role in the future of the sector. Topics such as Avoiding Over-indebtedness; Truth and Transparency in Lending; global initiatives on Social Performance and Client Protection; and Financial Education, among others, were discussed. The conference was held on July 26-27, 2012 at the Hyatt Hotel Manila.
