Key microfinance stakeholders convened during the 2022 Annual Conference of the Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI) on August 24-25, 2022 at Century Park Hotel, Manila. The event was attended by close to 600 participants from microfinance institutions, government institutions, donors, investors, and other developmental organizations that actively participated in the discussions related to this year’s theme Microfinance: Thriving through Uncertainties. During the event, speakers and participants discussed how the microfinance sector have become more resilient and relevant during uncertainties such as the COVID-19 pandemic, economic shocks, and natural disaster.
