The Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI) held its 2021 annual conference on August 18-19, 2021 via Zoom. The MCPI conference is an annual event that brings together key microfinance stakeholders to discuss important developments and relevant issues affecting the sector. This year, the conference carried the theme Emerging from the Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities in the New Economy. The conference discussed how the microfinance sector is emerging from the COVID-19 crisis and how innovations such as digitalization will help enhance the delivery of microfinance services in the new economy.
