The Philippine microfinance industry continues to play a vital role in advancing financial health, client resilience, and sustainable development. As microfinance institutions (MFIs) respond to digital transformation, evolving workforce expectations, regulatory requirements, and increasing organizational demands, Human Resource (HR) practitioners are called to strengthen their capacity to support people, performance, and institutional sustainability.
In line with this, MCPI and the KMBI Development Foundation, Inc. (KDFI) are co-organizing a Microfinance HR Summit on November 5-6, 2026, at the Century Park Hotel Manila, 599 P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila. The summit will serve as a platform to share key learnings and address common challenges related to human resources of MFIs. The summit will also encourage peer learning and networking among MCPI members, enabling participants to exchange workable solutions and promising practices that can strengthen HR effectiveness across the microfinance industry.
